As some of you know, I will spend the months of February, March and April in Australia, mainly in Melbourne. On the way, I will spend two weeks in Southeast Asia, to give some very serious talks... and for vacation. Stations are Bangkok, Singapore, the Riau Islands (Indonesia) and several places in Malaysia.
The first challenges which I have to meet are:
*to find a haircutter
*to find out whether a British adapter works
*to get a massage without ending up in a brothel
*to find a recharger for my foto device (I forgot mine in Tilburg)
The title of the blog is an hommage to Joseph Conrad, whose novels and tales are the most famous literary monument of the Australasian world of islands.
